We're a week away from release, what are your predictions for Golden's first week?

Yes and with sales of 40,092 sales.

I don’t think it will reach no1 and predict 20-24k. I’d like it to sell more but realistically can’t see it happening when other artists like Justin Timberlake who are more popular aren’t selling great numbers.

I think it will just be pipped to the post (sadly) by George Ezra / Greatest Showman (likely the latter) and will sell 30-34k.

#3 and 27k sold.

Predicting #1 and 34,000+

George sold 64k this week and is sure to still sell big numbers in two weeks time.....

 

Showman sold another 37k this week and vinyl released today and a number one single on Itunes so this may well sell similar amount in 2 weeks time too......

 

Kylie should get top 3 and I hope number 1 but those numbers above are a bit worrying. We have no idea how many pre orders she has sold ..... fingers crossed. I just hope it beats KMO first week sales but let's see. She has the promo which should help,

I'm hoping the multi formats will get her to the top and boost sales to near the 40,000 but I fear top 3 on less than 30,000. I want it to beat kiss me once opening sales.

HMV clear vinyl sold out, cassette sold out..... Could have sold a lot ore if hadn't been limited edition. Don't know why she bothers with this...... Kylie fans would buy f limited editions or not!

 

I am now thinking her pre orders may not be as high as we thought.......

 

Maybe she will struggle to get 30k for the first week?

 

Talking of streaming how any sales do you think she will get? 1,000?

 

Then to be fair..... Am a huge Kylie but have not bought Golden and will wait until release day to download and also buy a physical

Went for yes, it'll reach #1, and 35k-39k. I can see The Greatest Showman selling another 30k+ so it might be close.

I don't think Ezra is a threat.. the album is hardly a phenomenon and been out for two weeks already.

The Greatest Showman looks like it is going to beat her....... sales still increasing and now out on vinyl and being streamed loads

 

 

All depends on the total on the Monday sales update, she will be front loaded so needs at least a 10k lead somehow ........

Looks like it may not be #1 after all...

Number 1 with 40K plus sales!

Really thought Kylie was going to do it with ‘Golden’ but certain TGS will get it now - Kylie is going to be really front loaded and has no hit singles to back it up unlike TGS :cry:

I am starting to feel the same, TGS will prevent her from her 6th number 1 album.

 

That said, i would be delighted if Golden can open on higher sales than Kiss Me Once.

I think she may have the highest selling album but streaming will push her to debut at #2.

Lets see, Lets see...... she is picking up on all sales areas..... Amazon, HMV etc...... she was around 25 and 65th a few days ago and now is 5 and 20. that's good.

 

I am a big Kylie fan I haven't bought anything yet but will buy 2 copies no doubt

That could boost her sales easy on top of her pre-orders.........

 

We honestly do not know until Monday's update.......

 

Like I said if she sold out of cassettes (4000 copies) over 3 weeks ago then the other formats must have sold more......... that's 2 CDs, 3 x Vinyls, Downloads.... and a bit of streaming......

 

G Norton filmed tonight so we should see it in the papers tomorrow and Friday and know what she is singing. Please be SMFF!
