I have my entry and have been obsessing over it/the artist in general since...pretty much the time I DNQ'd in the last contest :kink: I'm going Witch House *. Idk why it's took me so long to try this genre out seeing as I love all of it's entries that are entered here.
I have a few choices lined up. Some smooth acid jazz with modern R&B influences, gay as hell rap over very 90's inspired voguing music, or do I continue to support the #waronenglish with another kpop INSTANT CLASSIC? Decisions, decisions...

All of those sound like things the Deandrians would enjoy but would just miss out on points, interesting  Obviously I'd need to hear the specific songs but the first one is the one I'm most intrigued by. I hope Aesthetica will begin to have more luck in this contest!

I have found something really GOOD but not OMG AMAZINGGG but I'm still thinking of entering it as I'm having a bit of bad luck finding amazing songs lately which is unlike me (former Deandria entry hidden in that sentence, can you guess what xx). It's largely unlike anything I've ever sent before and has a mildly amusing title that for some reason I think New Lexico would approve of ;)

The biggest thing I'm struggling over is whether or not to send something serious or an "exploiting an AQ" slightly jokey entry.

I'm gonna try something I (and possibly anyone else) have never done before. Night owls listen up (or if anyone comments tomorrow, that's fine too haha x). The first person to post a number between 1 and 100 will "choose" my next entry ;o (I have assigned one of my two potentials to each side of 50 or whatever)

yes I know this is a bit stupid but I'll probably just send the other one in the next contest then lmao. We are just going for a ~collaborative effort~ this contest!

Congratulations Jade, you have officially chosen Deandria's entry for BJSC 104 :cheer:

Exploit it!!!

So...can all countries who scored the most points in the last contest automatically AQ?

I've got a 50/50 chance of doing so but I'm not expecting it to go my way. And not really sure how to follow 2nd place but, looking at my potentials, it's safe to say it will be with something completely different to Lost Without You.

'Gay as hell rap' sounds like it could be rly good (if it's like along the lines of Zebra Katz / Le1f etc.)

I am sending completely out of fashion indie rock to celebrate the 10th (!?!) anniversary of an old favourite's debut album.

By indie rock I mean the SUPER FUN kind with violins, glockenspiels, shouty female vocals and a general sense of sonic and lyrical chaos. Not the "four sweaty boys with guitars tell me nothing about my life"/Stereophonics kind.

Omg I now have Bollywood pop bop in the mix, that or "EDM noise" would be something different for Unovia without being too much of a shark jump so I'm quite excited for this contest.

so many options: Mexican political chant, Asian gentle jazzdance, Canadian EDMpop, 60's girliepop singalong, 80's synth, 70's rockpop

Should I DNQ again or try a bit to at least scrape through to the final and find a BJSC-flavoured new one...? :D
