I think we know that Gary and co need to usually appear live in Europe to get the sales impact. Obviously, he can’t do that this time around. So a number 1, gold selling album is a very good return for an artist who’s been around for 30 years

Completely agree. I think he has achieved exactly what he wanted or at least he is happy with what he has achieved, considering his label did not even want him releasing the album when he did. He went against all advice and did really good.

Its done well considering the albums market was/is on its knees due to Covid, i would also say that after 12 months 11 days no one would have predicted that almost 22 years later he would be having number 1 gold selling albums.

With Enough is Enough have little impact as a single or helped the album either the album really wont do much more now.
Not sure it made the top 100 sales wise. Which is a shame. It’s a good song. But it did help nudge Gary into the gold category

I’d say the album has done really well, it’s a shame he didn’t get a hit single like he did with Let Me Go.

I thought Elita would have taken off.

Anyway, it’s a really good album and it’s been successful

I never expected any major success in the singles market and understood that a huge hit would not happen.

That said, I expected the lead single to at least make a brief chart appearance.

I can't see any further work going into the album.

TV will be Gary's priority for the foreseeable.

I think the Xmas album may be my least, based on what I’ve heard so far. Which is a real shame. I think it’s going to struggle sales wise.

Christmas albums can be very hard to predict, im hoping Gary has enough of a following to go Top 10 but i wouldn't be shocked if it missed out.
