Only one act and it all goes off oh dear. This happened a few years ago, I think did it?
Someone broke ITV!

Police say a man in his forties was seen fleeing the scene with a pair of wirecutters. He was heard to shout "Take that suckers" in a Geordie accent.

Those d day veterans really are pulling out the stops. I hope they don’t win though.

Lost voice guy to win please!

The dancer and quick-change act really disappointed me tonight after loving their auditions :( Lost Voice Guy was amazing again though at least!
Seems like the production budget was spent on The D-Day darlings and surprise surprise they performed last.
I still liked the dancer (and used four of my free votes for him) but the quick-change artists were very poor. The D-Day people were just awful.
Lost Voice Guy was the clear highlight for me, the dancer was okay but nowhere near as good as the semi performance.

Semi-final 2 line-up

Andrew Lancaster

B Positive Choir

Calum Courtney

Donchez Dacres

Futunity

Magus Utopia

Nick James

Ronan Busfield

All my votes went for Cali Swing but nice to see Lost Voice Guy through. I honestly don't think any of the acts were better than their auditions though unfortunately :(

Lost Voice Guy is bloody brilliant, such a breath of fresh air! It'd be so easy to use his disability as a sob story but he uses it to his advantage and I think it's hilarious that he is more than fine to take the piss out of himself without it being a pity party or anything. It really sets him apart from other comedians.

The D-Day Darlings on the other hand.... Jesus christ. I can't stand the blatant emotional manipulation. I'm glad they didn't win the vote when it was clear the producers did everything for them to do so. The style of singing just really isn't my thing anyway, it'd be nice enough if unimpressive if they *just* sang and let that speak but it was horrendous with all the flags and imagery. It's less talent and more constructing a way of staging that baits a certain type of person to vote...

I agree with you Chris, I think he stands the best chance out of everyone. He's someone you can really root for whilst also being very funny indeed.

As for tonight, I enjoyed the first performance by the choir - obvious choice of song but an effective one.

edit... and the second act was also much better than I anticipated they would be, they stuck to their zombie theme but really sold it I thought.

Think they blew the budget on Rita

I'm guessing they have some sort of deal with the Apollo to promote their shows to have the show there.
