May 29, 20187 yr The kid singer wasn't my cup of lapsang souchong but I guess it could have been worse... ...the impressionist was let down by the constant use of Trump, I sort of liked his act but I found it dragged and my favourite was definitely his David Attenborough.
May 29, 20187 yr It was indeed... just kinda pointless though, if you were going to bother then why time it when there aren't any acts on!
May 29, 20187 yr I feel this way every year in recent times but I miss when standing ovations weren't given out so sparingly!
May 29, 20187 yr It was indeed... just kinda pointless though, if you were going to bother then why time it when there aren't any acts on! I agree - surely if you are going to do that you do it mid-performance. Thought tonights show was pretty poor, I quite liked the choir and Magnus. Everyone else was pretty meh. Agree with others though, I think Lost Voice Guy really could win. He's genuinely likeable and it's a really unique act.
May 29, 20187 yr Yeah Lost Voice Guy definitely seems to have a shot! He reminds me of Jack Carroll a bit - the disabled comedian who owned what life had thrown at him, didn't take himself too seriously and was funny. He finished in 2nd but had the huge competition of Attraction. Definitely rooting for him so far! (am an hour behind - I really liked the impressionist! I get the similar to his audition comments but I still enjoyed it nevertheless)
May 29, 20187 yr For me, the best thing about the impressionist is that he stuck to targets most viewers will have heard of rather than characters from The Only Way Is Geordie or whatever. OK so Trump, Boris Johnson and David Attenborough weren't exactly original targets but at least I could tell how accurate they were.
May 29, 20187 yr I think the top 3 will be Donchez, Magnus Utopia and the last one could really be anyone. I thought Nick Page was much better than the judges thought he was.
May 29, 20187 yr I voted twice for the choir, twice for the dance act and once for David's novelty golden buzzer guy :kink:
May 30, 20187 yr Has to be Lost Voice Guy! Exactly the sort of person we should be giving spotlight to, he's an inspiration to people with disabilities who think they can't do things, without being too woe is me sob story about it. Like I said it's just SO refreshing that he can take the piss out of himself when normally an act would use somehting like that as a sob story to propel them through because their talent is mediocre. Marc Spellman was good but I didn't like the borderline emotional blackmail and Jack & Tim are absolutely horrific. I could see something really random winning this year though like the Jules and Matisse year (like they were fine but a bit of a wtf winner) as it's been a subpar year
May 30, 20187 yr I agree with you Chris, I think he stands the best chance out of everyone. He's someone you can really root for whilst also being very funny indeed. Yes. I just can't see anyone beating him. He's now the bookies favourite too. He's won this already. Edited May 30, 20187 yr by Crazy Chris
May 30, 20187 yr Yeah I can't really see anybody else winning. One of the shows most obvious winners in years imo! Might put a tenner on him EDIT: "Him" obviously being Lost Voice Guy! Edited May 30, 20187 yr by Jαsє

May 30, 20187 yr http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/britains-got-...comedian-final/ He had a fall :( But he'll still be performing on Sunday! Ouch, that looks nasty. But at least he's making jokes about it, so I'm sure he's fine.
