Gruffydd and Rise would be such a horribly predictable and disappointing top 2 :( I was admittedly sold more on the former this time compared to his audition as he was more technically impressive, but I still find him a bit overrated. Then I think the sentiment of Rise is lovely but the dancing itself is nothing special, some of them were actually quite out of time. Comedian and Magician would definitely be my top 2 tonight!

Robert White was the best of the night for me. I can barely remember his audition but he was really good tonight - particularly once the musical bit got going. I thought the Manchester dancers were also better than their audition and will, obviously, get a lot of votes because of who they are. I'm sure Holly spent more time out of her wheelchair this time; I hope that means she's continuing to recover.
SHOOK that the Manchester girls weren't top 3 (thought the emotional vote would come through) and that Robert topped the vote over Gruffydd!! YES
Delighted! I really didn’t think he’d triumph and he was such an unlikely winner before the show had aired, great to see people actually voted for the most entertaining act.
So after making a big deal out of getting the casting vote back the judges have now copped out of making a decision twice. Does anyone else think they may have been told on Monday that the D-Day women had come third?

Marc Spellman instead of Griffith should have gone through with Robert White. There's only so far someone can go with opera and I personally find opera boring even though Griffith sang very well tonight, it would have been interesting to see what Marc Spellman would have done in the final but I suppose he could come back as a wildcard.

Tomorrow night's semi final looks SO weak compared to tonight's!

^ Agreed, says it all that I only remember Jack and Tim (and they were not my cup of tea at all) and that woman making horse noises :') these semi-finals feel so imbalanced, today's was my favourite by far.

Well, Griff said on BGMT he will perform the Perfect Symphony version of Ed Sheeran's perfect, so that will be interesting.

I dont get why they had 2 golden buzzer acts on last night, I thought the whole point of them was straight through to the semis then each judge has an act in each semi final, although I may of totally thought that up in my head.

Robert was so good last night and him and LostVoiceGuy are brilliant acts and glad we have a bit of mixture as so far its 2 comedy acts versus singers and I can see more singers going through tonight... I think BGT lost the whole point its for variety not XFactor for acts that won't cut it

Robert was bloody hilarious  Much like Lost Voice Guy I loved that he uses his condition to make it funny in a different way, rather than as a sob story. That's what the show *should* be about, it's great to see people overcoming adversity and showing that you can do things no matter what, but it doesn't need to be done in a way that's emotional manipulation or a sob story that totally dwarfs the talent being displayed. I think comedy is much easier to do that though as taking the piss out of yourself or having it bolster your "character" is something that fits perfectly if the act is supposed to be funny.

I hope they don't split the comedy vote and we end up with a mediocre winner. Comedy finally having its time on BGT after magic kind of being an "in" thing for a couple of years!

Notwithstanding the fact that the "talent" has been somewhat mediocre in two of the shows so far, I think the programme is better with one presenter. Of course, it would have been even better without that awful start to yesterday's show.

Tonight:

Semi final 4 acts:

Olena Uutai

Marty Putz

Noel James

DVJ

Sascha Williams

Jack & Tim Goodacre

Amy Marie Borg
