Posted October 26, 200618 yr In Case yall ever wondered how bep came up with the name black eyed peas then check this: Will.i.am cites the "Red Hot Chili Peppers"as an influence and he appeared on a documentary on Radio 1 about the history of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, claiming that he named the Black Eyed Peas in a similar fashion to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, naming the band after a food. He went to Palisades High School and graduated in 1993.
