A bit random, but I recently noticed how incredibly fast Mabel's 'Fine Line' fell out of the top 200 :o

 

 

It looks like:

18/4: it was 11th on Hot Hits UK, and #24 on the chart

19/4: it was removed from Hot Hits UK, and already fell to #34 (although it had been #30 a few days before)

20/4: J. Cole's album and Avicii's re-entries helped push it down to #67 (without them, it would've been #51)

21/4: it fell to #79

22/4: it fell to #95 (behind 13 Avicii songs and 11 J. Cole songs)

 

and it stabilised there for a few days, but never recovered. It's surprising because it felt like it was doing so impressively well at its peak, but this makes it look like it had no standing beyond its playlists. I wonder why it was removed so soon - maybe due to 'Cigarette' also being there, but it didn't suddenly move up when 'Fine Line' was removed. If her label asked for 'Fine Line' to be removed to help 'Cigarette', I bet they're regretting it since 'Cigarette' barely made the top 50... and ended up falling from #49 to #115 in 3 days.

(I haven't seen the official Irish chart in years though, so maybe they do for all I know.)

Ireland doesn’t have ridiculously unbalanced chart rules (or least no ACR :kink:)

Ireland also don't appear to have the 3 song rule limit charting for an act.
