Michael Jackson - Don't Matter To Me Drake - Nonstop ZieZie - Fine Girl Au/Ra & CamelPhat - Panic Room Steel Banglez etc - Your Lovin Ella Mai - Boo'd Up When Panic Room is about to peak even higher under SCR, the OCC must change the rules now, a f***ing disgrace.
September 1, 20186 yr Might that lead to both 'Nice For What' and 'God's Plan' re-entering? Quite possibly!! When Panic Room is about to peak even higher under SCR, the OCC must change the rules now, a f***ing disgrace.  Panic Room should have dodged it, only just.
September 1, 20186 yr Imagine the confusion for innocent chart listeners if God's Plan re-enters the top 40 after three months out! I assume that because it's on ACR it probably won't have enough to make it, which would then mean we have a top 40 where there aren't three Drake songs!
September 1, 20186 yr Is it possible that Panic Room could still re-peak anyway? Surely it would need a HUGE boost in streams and sales to do that?
September 1, 20186 yr Looks like NFW will definitely re enter then it could be either one of Nonstop or God's Plan. COi, there's should only be one Drake song in next week's top 40 as NFW isn't doing enough to BE top 40 on ACR.
September 1, 20186 yr Looks like NFW will definitely re enter then it could be either one of Nonstop or God's Plan. I think whichever one of the latter re-enters, ACR will probably stop it from being top 40 now
September 1, 20186 yr Neither Nice for What nor God's Plan are selling enough to be top 40 right now anyway. They'll re-enter the top 100 (if Don't Matter to Me / Nonstop do drop below them) but that's as far as they'll go!
September 1, 20186 yr Author Just emailed the OCC about my rule change proposal 'I'm emailing to express my disappointment that the Accelerated Chart Ratio rules can be unfair to some entries, I was devastated to read today that Au/Ra and CamelPhat's Panic Room is set to enter ACR next week despite entering at its peak at number 33 this week and that it's continuing to climb iTunes which means it's likely it would peak even further with Standard Chart Ratio and I feel it's being punished for not been given the chance to potentially reach a high position, I understand Little Mix and Cheat Codes' 'Only You' and Martin Garrix and Khalid's 'Ocean' both already on ACR would have peaked on SCR this week as well so I recommend that the rules should be changed to stop further instances of this happening. My proposal is that if an entry peaks on SCR the week it is due to enter ACR then ACR should be suspended for at least another ten weeks then it would be given a chance to reach the position it deserves to be.'
September 1, 20186 yr Panic Room already on ACR? :( Nope, it's just avoided it! Just emailed the OCC about my rule change proposal 'I'm emailing to express my disappointment that the Accelerated Chart Ratio rules can be unfair to some entries, I was devastated to read today that Au/Ra and CamelPhat's Panic Room is set to enter ACR next week despite entering at its peak at number 33 this week and that it's continuing to climb iTunes which means it's likely it would peak even further with Standard Chart Ratio and I feel it's being punished for not been given the chance to potentially reach a high position, I understand Little Mix and Cheat Codes' 'Only You' and Martin Garrix and Khalid's 'Ocean' both already on ACR would have peaked on SCR this week as well so I recommend that the rules should be changed to stop further instances of this happening. Panic Room is not hitting ACR this week, and it's worth noting that without seeing midweeks yet, we don't know if Panic Room is set to repeak or not (it's down 1k streams week-on-week on Spotify). Only You would not have peaked this week, it would have fallen to #16. As I've said before, Ocean is a very rare case and I don't think we've seen anything like it before, where a song hits ACR just before it gets a boost from airplay etc. The fact that *one* song has been affected in over a year of ACR being implemented won't be enough for the OCC to bat an eyelid. Especially when it's about how much a song increases or decreases in sales, not about peak positions (and it's clear Only You only peaked by default as Rise, Youngblood and Jackie Chan all fell behind due to ACR themselves).
September 1, 20186 yr Yep it appears I was wrong about Panoc Room thankfully. It was heading that way in the midweeks which is what I base these 'predictions' off but Panic Room just managed to avoid it in the end.
September 1, 20186 yr Next week's victims of ACR will be ZieZie - Fine Girl Yes, yes and yes. Awful girl. -_-
September 3, 20186 yr Isn't In My Feelings on ACR now? I don't think so because it entered a week later than the other tracks when Emotionless hit number five.
September 3, 20186 yr But it's its 10th week in the chart with decreasing sales in the last 3 weeks No, this will be its 9th week
