BJSC 105 θ Niceland

Provisional Dates:
Confirmations: 7th May - 13th May
Semi-Finals: 14th May - 20th May
Semi-Final Results: 21st May
Final: 21st May - 27th May
Final Results: 28th May

We extend a warm welcome to all visiting nations to Niceland! We hope you'll enjoy your time here, especially at our Grand Stadium in the capital of Not Leeds. However, due to the ongoing riots we will not be able to accommodate you in the city - instead, you'll enjoy accommodation situated within the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty that Niceland is proud to say makes up 85% of its land. In other words, you'll be camping in a field.

Well I've given up hope of a good YTD position now so I'm aiming for a first ever DNQ- streak by considering a French rap song.

good to see that confirmations week is Eurovision week, would be too much to have semi-finals and Eurovision in the same week.

think I might go for a dance sub-genre I haven't sent in a while. I'll keep you guessing.

yes lewis! yes Jeff! #dancebloc

let's hope Dobbo joins us too, think he will after his flop last month :P

I have a subtle dark wonder that is the theme to one of my favourite shows I've seen this year. Probably won't help me in my search for a decent sized hit this year, but I hope some take to it and it's absolutely beautiful.

The Niceland graphics collection *__*

Really unsure whether I will do this edition, got an entry but I'm really demotivated from how the contest has been recently and final voting period is legit my exam period :drama;
So hyped to send my entry for this contest *.* it's my longest entry to date (8 minutes) and is a remix of a song that was sent to Unknown Pleasures before I joined that contest. It's an electronica song with ethnic and trippy excerpts. It has a wondrous accompanying fanmade video too. I feel like this could either bomb or stand out enough for a certain niche in the right semi to make it. Either way it's worth the risk!

Best graphics for a BJSC ever already  x I have exams going on during this edition but those dates work out fine enough anyway so yay ~

Coming to win this month. Probably one of my more generic entries but it's a banger, like a Native American flavoured 'Million Voices' by Otto Knows. *.* (that is right, I am coming back to the dance bloc again for a month, have missed y'all xo)

odds for Iz' attempt at an AQ:

2/1 catchy anime song

3/1 cinematic soundtrack

5/1 power metal

6/1 post-rock

7/1 nightcore

8/1 really hard dance

10/1 death metal

15/1 anime death metal

40/1 a respectable song that other people will like and give points to

50/1 brony

place your bets!

I have exams all throughout this so I probs should sit this out, but I know fully well that ain't going to happen whoops

I'm still trying to find something good that isn't setting off my "surely that's a veto" senses. Might end up just going with an old potential that slipped through the cracks.

But, now I'm officially in the winners circle that means I basically don't ever have to try too hard in BJSC ever again!

you should learn from last year that anything remotely related to anime is not gonna happen

I have a nightcore potential too :P

Brony metal? (it surely has to exist)
