Shame these things still happen. This has no place in the game.

some of the twitter comments too are disgusting

A certain one about his dead brother's grave, too disgusting to what the context but it was just awful. Which didn't get removed until 13 hours after I reported it.

It has been jailed for 14 weeks after the attack.

Bolton's players have asked for help from the Professional Footballers' Association, claiming owner Ken Anderson failed to meet a promise to pay their February wages on Monday.

The squad was told they would be paid if a proposed takeover of the Championship club was not completed.

Darren Moore's sacking is very harsh, if they were a significant amount of points away from the play offs I could have understood it. But sacking someone when the team is in fourth? No, can't get my head round that one.

There have been other incidents where fans have gone on the pitch this weekend, one in the Premier League and another in Scotland. Hopefully they come down hard on this type of behaviour as it is certainly not acceptable.

Race for the plays off is really interesting. Right now I'd go down to 14th in Brentford for the last play-off place.
Any neutral who saw our match with Ipswich last night must be wondering how we're 6th in the league. An absolutely dire performance against the worst team in the league.

Yeh could be a killer blow for city albeit Ipswich have rallied in the past month.

As for the top 3 they don't look like they are going to get beat but something will have to give this weekend when United meet Leeds in what looks like being a cracker encounter.

Birmingham City and Aston Villa have both been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players during Sunday's Championship match.

A melee involving players from both teams occurred in the fifth minute after Blues midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld fouled Jack Grealish.

Definitely, Sheffield have had consistently good results over the past few months, Leeds need to make sure they pull something out of the bag here.

Yeh Leeds are playing unbelievable football at the moment too

My dad told me they were very physical at Ashton Gate and played like a Warnock team at times, so it looks like they can mix it up a bit too.

A winding-up petition against Bolton Wanderers has been set at High Court for Wednesday, with a proposed takeover off.

If the winding-up order against the Sky Bet Championship club is successful, it could lead them to go into administration and receive a 12-point deduction as a result.

Bolton Wanderers' High Court hearing over an unpaid tax bill of £1.2m has been adjourned until 3 April. Worrying times indeed for Bolton Wanderers.

I can honestly see Bolton Liquidating very shortly which will be a massive shame :(

It indeed would be a massive shame it is something that you don't want to see in football which is a football club going bust.

Blackburn Rovers have reported a £16.8m net loss for their 2017-18 League One promotion season.

The Lancashire side spent 187% of their £9m turnover on wages - which fell by 24% - with owners Venky's injecting £14m to keep the club afloat.

In all, Blackburn's Indian owners are owed £108m in loans, having invested a further £147m in shares since buying the then Premier League club in 2010.
