The McFly singer/guitarist is going solo and is releasing a new single next months, with an album later this year.

 

I'm looking forward to this (and I love Dougie's band INK), but I wish McFly would get back together!

I thought McFly were doing another album? Shame as I grew to really like them towards the end!

So an EP is being released - with each of the 4 tracks being released every week in June. The first 'Muddy Water' is out tonight.

 

The OCC article describes it as 'a stadium sized stompathon that falls somewhere on the spectrum between OneRepublic's pop hooks and the rootsy stomp of Train, with a dash of Bryan Adams-esque grit. Danny dabbled in production back in his McFly days, and later worked on tracks for One Direction and The Vamps, and Muddy Water confidently takes his sound to new heights.'

 

 

 

I liked his last song, is this still love but this was largely overlooked and I think his new e.p. will follow the same tragectory.
