This bald guy who is Mick's friend is f***ing repugnant. He actually makes the show unwatchable

And WHAT is Yorke's obsession with money? First it was the old man demanding "WHERE'S MAH MONEY?!", now it's "WHO STOLE THE MONEY?!" f***s sake NOBODY cares

It's awful what this show now is. Just awful :/

Masood's return has been one of the most pointless returns ever. I mean, what has been the point? :/

Masood is nothing short of annoying and the return is pointless and no benefit to the show.

I like what we are seeing with Kim. I have always enjoyed Kim but her most recent scenes have really shown what a strong actress she is.

Her emotions and performance are heartfelt and real and she is portraying all the sides of emotion which i find very realistic to watch.

They’re really touching some heavy stuff with Stuart tonight! Good to see EE covering some topics other soaps wouldn’t.
Good Lord, this Mick tedium needs to end. Is there a reason we need to see Danny Dyer attempt guilty expressions and make everyone’s problems about him?
I don't dislike Stuart but Mick honestly drains the life out of any storyline he's forced into :drama: Like they've introduced these new characters in Halfway and Stuart who have stuff to explore and Mick ALWAYS has to be involved, it's just so boring to watch. Like T Boy said it's just him making the same faces and making it about him no matter how bad it is for the other person. Also him treating Halfway better than he did his own solider son while he was at home
EastEnders will be broadcasting a docu-drama style episode for Shaki's funeral. The show will be interspersed with real stories of knife crime.

I like the sentiment but I'm not sure how this will play out on screen!

I too am curious as to how this will work on screen, like it's a great sentiment as you say, I just don't want it to see jarring as we flip between reality and fiction. I feel like monologues over Eastenders scenes would work well. Regardless though, I was thinking just the other day how ahead of the standard soap format Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are and Eastenders is usually the one that sticks largely to the traditional format, so it's pleasing to know Eastenders are considering new ways to portray their stories.

THIS!!

Also agreed about the whole obsession with money and Sharom's club doing so well that it just happened to have 14k in the tills!!

Maybe it will be monologues from real families who come to the funeral, or they will watch a presentation on it and there will be a video they watch with real stories

I would like to know why the producers have been so obsessed with 'stolen money' storylines over the past 6 months. First we had the gangs money going missing, then missing money at the club and now Ted finally realised he's had money stolen.y. The only real difference with the latter is that we know who stole Ted's money.

It’s like EE are trying to force Mick into legendary status. This is a problem because he’s shit.

Does anyone else just fast forward the lot of it except for the Slater bits?

It's just background noise to me now. I'll put it on via catch-up but I'll be browsing the internet while it's on and the only time I really pay any attention is if anything interesting/of note happens - so very rarely!

The Slaters are always interesting to watch and i do enjoy Kim too.

Outside of the scenes with these characters i tend to forward through bits unless its on in the background and it plays out.

The episodes are by large non events for far too long now.
