Former Neon Jungle member Jessica Kate Plummer has been cast as Chantelle Baker.

What a throwback! That 1-2-3 punch of 'Trouble', 'Braveheart' and 'Welcome to the Jungle' tho. *.*

Both pics gave me a scare

Tina is so annoying. I actually prefer Stuart and I’m glad it looks like he and Rainie will be friends.

How I wish Karen had gone at Whitney like that 18 months ago when she really was the worst.

I really am loving Stuart and Rainie. It’s amazing how far Stuart’s come away from the Carters.

So with the Ben Mitchells, we have had the squeaky, the gormless, the one people thought was fit and now the hardman.

Stuart works much more interestingly with Rainie.

They are one of those couples that could be so good for each other but, so bad at the same time.

I was watching Captain Marvel and there was a trailer for the new Hellboy movie, Mo Harris is in it  I cracked up
6 months after she came back and it’s like they’ve finally remembered Ruby’s history with the show.
I've just watched yesterday's episode. Is that the first time we've seen what the sausage surprise looks like?

No but it certainly looked a lot nicer than this:

the ruby storyline has suddenly gotten very uncomfortable...I can't believe the show just implied Ruby being about to commit genital mutilation wasn't really that bad and it's weird how Ruby's own sketchy history with sexual assault was brushed over conveniently. apart from that I'm loving the show though.
There’s been something off about the Ruby storyline from the very beginning. It feels like an idea that was a bit too ambitious and one they didn’t plan carefully enough.

I agree with this. I don't know if it's anything to do with Kate Oates but all of a sudden Ruby seems to have remembered that she has history with the characters in the show. The best Exec Producers bring the references and make the show feel more authentic so hopefully there's more to come.

Not to be a pedant but I watched a clip on YouTube the other day where Jean described what went into Sausage Surprise and that monstrosity she served up for the Carters was NOT Sausage Surprise!! Continuity flop!

I think the surprise about sausage surprise is that Jean changes the recipe every time.
Just been confirmed that Hayley has indeed left Eastenders. Seems bizarre that a character literally shoved down our throats all of last year can just disappear without a 'proper' exit. It's like she's just been wiped from existence and last year never happened! Can't say I'm fussed though, the character was way overused and we were expected to care about her without any reason to. I can't see how she would fit back into this current era for Eastenders anyway with all the improvements we have been seeing these past few weeks.
