THERE'S NO HOOK-A-DUCK POOL TO PUSH ME INTO NOW SONIA

Lol that sucker punch

We just need that gif :D

Omg I shouldn't have howled so much at Denny punching Sharon
This Ben is soooooo hot but that's about all he offers, really not a fan, no personality other than "look I'm 'ard as nails" :drama: Harry Reid's Ben really did a lot for the character and this has just kind of ignored all that complexity.

Harry Reid was good and we got to see a few differnet sides to Ben during his time.

I know it is early days for the new Ben and it takes time so i will hold of judgement.

Ngl, I screamed when Kim referred to Gray as Beige.

Kim really deserves a win for comedy at the soap awards.

Despite years of making the final 4 she has yet to win.

No, he has got some hearing loss so the character does still have a hearing aid in

I’m having an issue with the Ben/Lola stuff which is a shame because I feel like everything else is pretty good at the moment.

It’s not too soon to have recasted Ben but it very much is for changing his personality. He was only offscreen for 15 months. This new actor is ok, dodgy accent aside, but the character is grating. They had a few misfire Bens but Harry Reid seemed to get it right. Now in just over a year, he seems to have embraced his psycho and seem like a different character.

Lola also doesn’t seem right despite being the same actress. I’ve not really felt sorry for her. She didn’t seem to have any reason to leave her fiancé or lie about him. He seems to be a nice and devoted guy who she first wants to leave and then decides she’s like to stay with after Jay rejects her. None of it seems to make any sense and she just comes across as shallow. I know she’s frightened of Ben but the fiancé thing just seemed completely pointless and there to help her and Ben rack up duff duffs on a Mick Carter scale.

In a show where Claudette Hubbard fell down the stairs, acquired a head injury, was buried alive, dug her way out and wandered around Walford without a hair out of place within 48 hours, I’m actually having more trouble believing that Bex is a potential Oxford student.
Kathy to be at least half drunk in every episode from this point on please. Particularly if there is a Mitchell crisis.

I fully agree with all of this.
