Can you believe it is five years since the Who Killed Lucy? storyline began?! :o

I can’t, but what a year 2014 was! I think we could get there again but it’s very slow progress.

It’s quite clear that Stacey was watching EastEnders regularly last year since she accurately recounted the amount of times people said Hayley in any given scene.
I've noticed lately Stacey has been wearing a tent, obviously she has a pudding in the oven.

Lacey’s pregnancy was announced a while ago. She’s been doing the covering up via scarf technique at present and I imagine she’ll start carrying a massive bag around with her like the one Natalie Cassidy failed to conceal her pregnancy with.

Also Lacey's long hair is covering her swelled boobs  :heehee:

Sean's mischievous grin
Amy is such an icon, QUEEN *.*

Amy is indeed an icon and Janet proved to be Queen of Sass tonight.

Ugh Jack is a repulsive character. Slamming Roxy like that whilst holding up a murderer who kidnapped a child as some sort of modern day saint.

And the Amy scenes broke my heart. Jack clearly doesn’t talk to her about her mother and that’s pretty scandalous.

Eastenders will be celebrating Pride Month with its first pride parade:

The Sun:

WHEN I revealed last year that EastEnders would be opening a gay bar, I also predicted it would only be a matter of time until it held its first Pride parade.

And it looks as if show boss Kate Oates has been listening.

The BBC1 soap is set to hold an LGBTQ march this year to tie in with London’s gay pride event in the first week of July.

A show source said: “It’s going to be a huge event on the square filled with joy.

“Kate thought that with Walford’s London identity it was a natural fit to tie in the two. But, as with any event on Albert Square, there is certain to be plenty of drama happening alongside the

celebration.”

Kate has previously spoken about her plans to reflect “multi-cultural London” after taking over on the soap.

She said: “I’m really interested in bringing some more LGBTQ characters in.

“We’re looking at opening a gay bar on the Square which will be a cool precinct where gay and straight characters can all just hang out.

“It should be something really exciting, really fun, really visual and feel really true to multi- cultural London.”

Fab news! The representation of LGBTQ in Eastenders has been extremely poor for a few years so it's great to see big strides being made to correct this. This is also a great way of properly representing London and something that will be unique to Eastenders.

It certainly looks like they’re getting back on track with the LGBT+ representation. I’d actually love them to introduce a ready made homosexual couple to the show. I know Aaron and David on Neighbours didn’t arrive ready made but they’ve proven that there’s plenty of mileage in LGBT+ couples long term.

Sean's return has been great and Gillian Wright once again has shown what a Brill actress she is.

Really have high hopes for honey and Adam as I really think it's going to head into the abusive relationship storyline.

Lovely to see Rita Simons recording that new dialogue. Killing Roxy was such a misstep. Amy absolutely has to have her character shaped by her mother’s death and her father’s attitude towards Roxy or none of it will have been worth it. NuJanine please.
I think everyone knows killing off Roxy and ronnie was a huge mistake, Kate Oates may at the least use the mistake in some way going forward.
