Yet still no exit for Max. Do they want a show only of men they fancy??

That funeral episode was awful. If they focused on the drama around the family and not around Mick, they could have tackled it MUCH better. The docudrama was uncomfortable and like a documentary. It showed they had no faith in their drama, because there was very little BECAUSE THEY FOCUSED ON MICK!! That made the storyline go flat.

I cant get my head around the direction of the show, its is jumping from pillar to post and lacking real substance.

Mick was a character i enjoyed but now they just seem to be determined to have in as many scenes as possible and its far from needed.

That exit news is very disappointing. Certainly one of the stronger characters on the show right now.

I can see why that’s happening as the current storyline does leave the character with less to do later on when it’s over and done with, I will miss her though. At least she was utilised during her stint.

Did the funeral focus on Mick tho? I thought Carmel and Kush were very much the focus. Was Mick even there?

I swear Mick wasn't in the episode?
Mick wasn't in the episode no.

I was bored to tears by Tina’s story.

Loving Donna getting more to do but I guess this is leading to her exit.

I meant the knife drama full stop. The culmination to the weak drama was thr funeral, but the drama was weak as it focused on Mick and his stupid facial expressions than on the family and knifecrime.
Tinas story was just pathetic, completely anti climax reveal. The storylines have no impact at all its like they are completely struggling for ideas.
Haven't caught up yet but with this Tina thing it just felt like they remembered "oh yeah we have Tina" and thought "let's shoehorn Stuart into something else at the same time" I mean I guess as it's presumably after Stuart going to prison it adds to the whole "prison broke him" thing but I just don't like when they get a character and force t hem into so many things, like they could give Tina something to do without adding to the already tedious Stuart takeover... I think EE needs to realise that just because they have a potentially interesting character, they don't need to make the whole show about them as soon as they're introduced. With say the Taylors, they took a while to establish themselves and then had their moments to shine, and that's why they work so well. I don't see how we're meant to care about Stuart when he's come into the show.
Problem with Stuart is he was quite obviously creepy and evil from the get go. It would have been better if they tried to make us like him first and then twisted it. The fact that every character except Mick was wary of him from the start really hasn’t helped and just makes Mick further look like a pillock and an incredibly poor judge of character.
Why are they not constantly suspicious of Stuart tho?
Bless you guys for sticking it out - you've got more patience than I have, that's for sure

I just watch it if I've got nothing better to do. If I miss an episode, I certainly don't bother catching up anymore!
