A spokesperson for Roxanne has commented on the controversy to Digital Spy -

 

"Roxanne has no contact with the outside world to make her own statement, however we do know that Roxanne has worked closely with various domestic violence charities due to being a victim of domestic violence herself.

 

"She would be very upset to find out she may have caused offence to others who have been through the same.

 

"We can't make any more comment at present until such time as Roxanne is out of the Big Brother house and is able to address this situation herself."

Surely not all the complaints are directly about Roxanne?

If Roxanne did go through domestic abuse, while it's still a complete overreaction, I guess there's part of me that understands where she's coming from with the way she's reacting. Who am I to sit here and slag her off is she genuinely has been triggered by it?

 

On the other hand, if she HAS just done this for attention/a storyline, obviously she's the scum of the earth and her career needs to be over.

 

After reading that article and properly thinking about it, I'm extremely wary about slating her because we just don't know the full story.

Agreed, wasn't aware of her domestic abuse before but I don't think anyone is able to say how she might react if there is something to trigger something really bad from her past. Nor is anybody else who has nothing better to do than fall her c**t, slag, dangerous woman, bitch, when it perhaps could be the case. I feel like it's a small chance though, so many people who've worked with Ryan or Roxanne on Ryan's side, and none on Roxanne's, which I feel is quite telling. It's just very very odd and a ridiculous situation I can't quite get over :lol:

 

However, she's been similarly playfighting with Ben and hasn't acted like this. For me it's how she had those couple of hours at the party being all fine then afterwards just decided that it was such a massive issue. It just comes across as her grabbing an opportunity for airtime which is hugely disappointing and disgusting, and I've been defending her since day 1 over supposedly seeking attention. It just doesn't add up at all, I'd like to believe that perhaps there just is something there from her past but it's that couple of hours at the party where she didn't really bat an eyelid and then she decided it was such an issue later on as if she saw the opening for some aririme and ran with it :/

It is a huge " storm" essentially over nothing.

All it has done, is pushed Ryan closer than ever to winning -_-
