Singles are based on sales and airplay so you can see how popular a song really is. I will update weekly as long as they in the top 40 global chart. Total sales of albums will be more in general because of the sales outside the global top 40 but its a good indication of how successful it is. October 28, 200618 yr It's good work. :D I can only assume it sold a bit more since then, but I wouldn't imagine drastically more. I'd hazzard a guess at probably around 600 - 700K worldwide currently.
October 30, 200618 yr Well, it isn't THAT bad considering. They aren't a huge selling band, and they get literally no promotion these days either so they sell on word of mouth and fanbase mainly. I think they've done good, #1 in 7 countries and 'Meds' was their first album to reach the billboard top 200, basically on the fanbase they'd built up there. They've also sold around 8 million albums in total worldwide to date, which I didn't expect to be so high! They deserve a lot more, I know, but you can't put a price on their absolute quality. :D
