The Midnight are one of many acts releasing great 80s inspired electronic synthwave, probably the most popular of those (others include FM-84 and Timecop1983) and here is their new single 'Lost Boy' (avec fan vid with Stranger Things footage of course)

LOVE this band, such a brilliant aesthetic and sound, I can listen to their stuff all day and it doesn't all sound samey despite having a clear identifying feature which is even better.

 

This is an old one, but it's one of my favourites that I came across earlier this year:

 

 

As for Lost Boy, I like it, might be a bit of a grower on future listens, I do tend to prefer their songs with more focus on instrumentals, but this is good too.
