I´m really enjoying the album, and i think it has some things that he doesn´t done before...but appart from not using a lot of guitars, and not having his typical ballad, I don´t think this album is that different: A little bit more electropop, but not very different. What do you think? and of course, that´s not a problem for me, it has quality songs on it, that´s the important thing.

this is gonna sound weird but to me it sounds more "boybandish"...but i do agree that it is very electropop

Boybandish  I don't know what type of boyband you have in Austailia but this album is 100% opposite of any boybands I've come across.  I mean their is loads of rap and it does'nt have any cheesy power ballads.

There are some normal Robbie songs like She's Madge, Summertime etc but the likes of Rudebox, Bongo Keep on, Good Doctor, 80's, 90's etc don't sound like anything he's done before. I definatly think those who are on the fence with it due to Rudebox would still like more than half of the album ^_^

i think its the electropop that makes me say boybandish

i cant really explain it but it reminds me of pop, and somehow i get boyband from that...i did say itd sound weird

i only wish there were boybands with songs that good...but sadly all boybands are utter sh*t

Well to me boybands are just Westlife etc and just churn out ballads. I don't know many boybands with an electropop sounds. Boybands are dying out thank god
The album is much different from all the rest he's done but that's exactly what makes it genious...at least for me! :)

Boybands are dying out thank god

Not soon enough....what i really love is a new Aussie film called Boytown that is basically a mockery of all boybands especially the ones that decide to reform after splitting not naming any names (TT)

i saw it the other day and loved it, great film if you are really anti-boyband

Boytown - I Cry video

I think this album is really different to his previous ones without a doubt, imo the turning point for me was IC -_-

I agree, IC was so different!!! I'm still not used to some of those songs.... :o  :(

IC was'nt that different at all imo. Just did'nt have enough rock/upbeat tracks. <_<

That's what makes it different....

and Tripping was a real surprise for me... That high voice... :o

It certainly doesnt remind me of any boy bands I've heard before!

Yeah Tripping was really really different

And everyone was expecting such a different sound but the rest of the album is just very normal for me

I have to say it's the first album I bought....

but I do have all the other albums...just not by the old fashioned (spending- money) way....

A world away from a boyband album...who thought up that one???

Some very mature songs on here....The Actor, We're the Pet Shop Boys

Rob's at his most accomplished on many of the songs

I think this album is completely different musically with the electro, funk sound of it, but his brilliant lyrics are still totally and completely Robbie if you know what I mean. Maybe thats why some think its not really all that different....we still hear him loud and clear with his words  .
