this was very fun and ridiculously relevant albeit a tad exaggerated

 

i love how the jocks never misgendered Bax, not even in the hanging scene

 

I'd have preferred if they explored the other girls' characters more and not just Lily's but yeah

A very attractive starting pitch that could have made an excellent thriller. Instead, the film sinks into a caricature of "american nightmare" as some radical feminists might dream of it as it depicts a ridiculous sex war, all bathed in blood and grotesque caricature. I thought it was amazing and depicts the situation in America very well, which is obviously exaggerated. One of my fave films from last year actually.
