Posted July 30, 20186 yr I saw a trailer for this when I went to see Mamma Mia and it looks really good, I definitely wanna see this one :cheer: APL30ptgwvg It looks like an action film mixed with a chick flick and it seems really cool The plot: The Spy Who Dumped Me tells the story of Audrey (Kunis) and Morgan (McKinnon), two best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy.
August 13, 20186 yr Not the kind of film I'd usually want to see, but Sam Heughan is in it so I'll definitely watch this some time
August 24, 20186 yr 5/10. If you've seen the trailer you've seen the best bits, bar a sight gag about young women doing selfies which is funny. On paper it should have been a funny film. On film, it's too violent for a comedy to work, and a bit too abstract in the humour department to be what it's trying to be, which is a gross-out slapstick buddy movie. I like the stars, but it didn't quite gel for me...
November 4, 20186 yr 19/10 This is easily the best and most of all funniest movie I've seen all year. I had to pause several times to allow myself to laugh properly. Morgan was the best character by far (Kate's just a comedy genius and I have no doubt many of those funny moments were her ad-libs). The chemistry between the two leads was outstanding. My faith in 2018 movie-wise is now restored a bit. This was a terrible year for movies :(
November 12, 20186 yr This was easily the worst film I saw this year. It had no idea what its plot or tone was, and just...was not funny.
