So I've spent the last week or so getting into Hearthstone for the first time and well, has anyone else played this at any point?

 

For a free card game it's pretty incredible and engaging in how it's making me think about how best to craft the right deck. I'm playing it free aside from buying the starter deck to have a bit more of a valuable range of options and I still feel like I have so many options. I'm never normally into multiplayer but playing ranked play is such a challenge and tinkering with my deck to combat the legendary combos I'm facing is so interesting. Also it's giving me that rush of building a card collection for a game that I haven't felt since scrounging my pocket money for limited numbers of Yu-Gi-Oh cards years ago.

 

Right now, I've been mainly playing a combination of Mage, Hunter and Warlock classes, but will probably move over to some others for variety, I've opened a lot of Paladin and Priest cards that I've never really used, for example.

 

(also new expansion: The Boomsday Project, coming very soon which makes this as good a time as any to start a topic in 2018 about a game that started in 2014)

as pretty much the only (good) game I can access in China until I get a computer I’ve been playing more of this than ever! I’ve been quite lucky and managed to get the two best dragons, Malygos and Alexstrasza, as well as some more great legendaries including The Lich King (apparently a very famous Warcraft character, I know very little about that universe) and my best card game waifu Tess Greymane, whose got me trying to build an insane and unwieldy Rogue deck around her because her effect (replay every card from another class you’ve played this game) is so fun to try and get to work. Playing lots of Mage and Rogue right now.
