Not feeling the latest one so much. 1 Moonlight 2 Where Angels Fear To Tread 3 Funky Sensation 4 Love Can Be So Hard 5 Where You Come From
August 24, 20186 yr basically I think. probably just some 'for the fans' tracks they're throwing out there whilst they're still working on album #3.
August 24, 20186 yr I’m liking Moonlight and Funky Sensation. Would be nice to see another high profile collab from them soon.
August 24, 20186 yr These new tracks are EXCELLENT! I'm loving the disco influence. Thank God they're back on form.
November 6, 20186 yr 12" vinyl of all 5 tracks together is coming on December 7th. Still no Disclosure album to announce, or any Disclosure live shows on the horizon but following the overwhelming reception to surprise summer single ‘Ultimatum’ back in May, the inexhaustible Reigate brothers can’t resist the temptation to share another five brand-new tracks fresh from the studio. Across the five songs released in one week, the Lawrence brothers explore a depth of influences that draw from their love of African rhythms, deep house, disco and vocal jazz. “All of these tracks are sample based and we wanted to delve into genres that we hadn’t really experimented with in the past. What we ended up with worked so well together as a set - uplifting, upbeat and danceable, and it made sense to put them all out now in one go.”
December 22, 20186 yr Can anyone reccomend any songs like Where Angels Fear to Tread - dance remixes of 50s/60s vocals? I also quite like Mint Royale's Singin' in the Rain, which is similar.
