With E3 already passed and the summer in full swing, Cologne plays host to Europe's biggest gaming and entertainment trade fair. The four day event is used to showcase new and exciting games, products and more!

I'll be giving a rundown of the highlights from each day of the fair, but be assured that you're likely to see some of the following make an appearance:

Red Dead Redemption 2

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Whether that's more detailed information, or just another showcase of what can be expected, these will be the highlights I'm sure. There will be surprises as well, hopefully a new IP that hasn't been seen yet!

If you'd like to keep up to date yourselves, the website can be accessed here: Gamescom 2018.

Devil May Cry 5

Today, Capcom revealed a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5, the latest installment of the very successful hack and slash series. Released on March 8th 2019 (my birthday *cough*), the trailer featured 'Devil Breakers', mechanical arms that grant the wearer, Nero, special demon slayer powers. Dante also makes an appearance, complete with a new weapon, his motorcycle! Watch the trailer to see it split into two chainsaw-like weapons.

The Dark Pictures Anthology

From the team that brought us Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology is an American Horror Story-esque series of horror games, each one with it's own story and characters. The first in the series, released next year, is called 'Man of Medan'; a group of four divers are lost at sea and must fight to survive aboard a WW2 era ship. Watch the trailer below, will this scare the pants off you??

Cyberpunk 2077

This one has intrigued me the most; no new trailers were showcased for this during Gamescom, but new concept art and screenshots have been (far too big to post here but they are Google-able). The setting looks straight out of the Blade Runner series, and having the creative team behind The Witcher 3 on board, it's got to be one of the games to watch for next year. The E3 reveal trailer can be seen below.
