September 13, 20186 yr Author Yes, you read that right, the first national final songs for 2019 are OUT...well, kinda. Given Switzerland's somewhat unique mix of linguistic cultures, the spots in each year's NF are usually divided up between the three main languages. Typically, in a field of 6, German speakers get 3, French speakers get 2 and a lone spot is dedicated to the Swiss Italian speakers. And that is where we are today, as the 13 songs released already are in the mix for that lone Italo-Swiss spot in the Swiss National Final. So, yes, this is a bunch of songs competing to come like 4th in some studio in Zurich in February but don't let that put you off! Long time fans will recognize Sebalter who makes a return from 2014. December 18, 20186 yr Apparently there will be no studio in Zurich and the final selection will be internal, with the entry reveal taking place in March. But Luca Hänni is being rumoured as the artist after the SRF Eurovision twitter account started following him
