Were the lads on the studio live yesterday at bigtop40?

They seem to be on vacation now, no promo. all are pre-recorded radio interviews only done last week and maybe all promoted this week

I think the song is doing okay considering the length of time since they had a break. Yes #1 would be lovely, but sadly the chart has stupidly all changed now. I’m just glad it’s not a flop. The MV is doing pretty well.
I think they they won't be #1 and I know that as well. But the Irish initial results are too close to call that's why they need promotion. Their next TV appearance maybe on the 22nd national tv awards

UK will be fighting for a Top 10 entry, despite might being higher than this in today's midweek, but their peak days are gone for this single...

Ireland, come on its westlife :)

Sadly they lost that 5k sales from day one.

Never was a fan, but I obviously prefer 15th number one for Westlife over fake # 1 with 90%+ chart points from streaming like Ariana Grande was in December.

it looks like they sacrificed that one day sale ahead for streaming interests for their future maybe in streaming and if you will observe early on media had promoted the single as #1 already on itunes.

7 in the UK midweeks. They might hold onto top 15 by Friday.

Too low? That's excellent for Westlife?!

Honestly, I am not surprised one bit, this is actually fine, even excellent as Joe says. Seriously people, Westlife will probably never ever have a no. 1 single in the UK. The charts have changed so much since they disbanded, streaming is the key and we all know Westlife fans are traditional so of course that is simply not enough. If they had a few more prominent TV appearances like Norton show, maybe things would have been a little different but like this, with only few radio shows in between and no spot on Radio 1 playlist, this is expected. I just hope they manage to stay in the Top 10 by Friday.

yup the video is not a flop at all. when I was checking the youtube trending latest mv list. most of the countries I've checked have Excuses by Olly but I noticed it was uploaded 1 week ago and have 1.6m views only, it seems to be promoted.

Top 100 Singles

1 Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho (22.5k)

2 Mark Ronson feat. Miley Cyrus - Nothing Breaks Like a Heart (13.4k)

3 Sam Smith & Normani - Dancing with a Stranger (12.3k) *

4 Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower (11.5k)

5 Ariana Grande - thank u, next (11.3k)

6-10

7 Westlife - Hello My Love *

The cd single should have got its release this week.

Potentially could have added 5-10k more sales that would help secure a Top 10 return.

It is released this week, it is out since Friday.

Westlife’s first single in eight years, Hello My Love, has achieved the most downloads over the weekend

If they released the song on Friday instead of Thursday, I definitely think they would’ve had a top 10 single.

The possiblity is still there, but I feel it might just miss the top 10.

Every time I think of this song I hear "Shout Out To My Ex" and not "Castle On The Hill" though really I see it as a mix of the 2. Neither of which I’d have expected for a Westlife comeback.
