People that never liked Westlife are enjoying this. Glad they took the time to get a decent song recorded instead of play the old cards and release a cover....it has paid off. Simon Cowell ruined them! (And Barlow with that shit lighthouse song).

Also Lighthouse is an Elton John reject. Their label obviously did that thursday opening on purpose to push their fans on streaming

I think the strategy actually worked because the song keeps climbing on streaming charts after the initial push and then tumble from the Norton performance. Too bad we can't know the actual sales on Friday, whether they were lower or higher than Thursday sales but I think the strategy worked in the long run. Plus, its huge they are performing on Tuesday, hopefully that will help the single.

5k minus whatever they sold today, remember.

today they sold 1.000 copies so yes it would be 4k+ more..

i never liked that song i don't know why.... it was like a very old fashioned ballad, even the boys' signing wasn't very interesting on this one... Beautiful World and Wide open on the other hand were amazing....

I felt the same way. Its decent enough for an album track but definitely not for the single. The only part I really love is when Shane goes into "I owe it all to you...". And I guess all is tainted because we knew they were planning to release Mark's co-written song Beautiful World but then the label changed the decision at the very last minute. I'm pretty sure the boys showed how much they liked the song by not even singing it on their last tour :D

they didn't even sing it in the tour thats strange... Even though it appeared at the first few shows... As a matter of fact they didnt sing any new song from the greatest hits back then...

Lego House by Ed was released at that time. Same with Safe I think Shame by Robbie and Gary was released at that time. Song titles that spells like and sounds like matter to the label maybe for interests and attraction to the release

Wow they've held up really well by all accounts on streaming then! Good for them.

I am super angry.... I am deffinitely sure the Top 10 is lost....

DAMN THIS IDEA TO RELEASE THE SONG ON THURSDAY..... DAMN DAMN DAMN

well it's still a number one to us because it was released on a Thursday, adding those sales they are the real #1
i doubt it'll be top 10. But ya'll, it's done way better than anyone expected. Did you all really think Westlife would even come close to a top 10 in 2019? Nah.
