Their last number-ones in the Physical Chart that lasted for two weeks were Swear It Again (their debut single), their duet with Mariah Against All Odds , their 2005 comeback single You Raise Me Up, and the 2019 comeback single Hello My Love so far.

Their Christmas #1 single I Have a Dream /Seasons in the Sun spent four weeks at the top.

All of their other number-ones spent just one week at the top.

first time for the song to move upwards on midweek at #18

Thats amazing to be honest, it means the song is appealing to the public despite any promo, I doubt this is even bought by Westlife fans now, these are are probably casual listeners who simply like the song.

I really hope Westlife secure another week in the top 40 this week

It's already secured. :)

Much as I consider them one of the worst things that ever happened to music, I actually don't mind this song.

Except for a couple of really questionable lyrics, but you know.

Consider them one of the worst things that ever happened to music is basically then considering most of the boybands the worst thing that could happen to music. I never quite understand the pure hate Westlife often gets, they are simply singing in harmony, they aren't murdering anybody. I mean, they never ever tried to be something they are not nor did they think they are above anybody else.
I think it's cos of all those covers they did in the middle of their career, The Rose, Mandy, Against all odds, etc those were beyond bad, that has nothing to do with boybands in general, it's the abuse of bland covers

Yeah, I'm a fan and even I hate so many covers. I think only Uptown Girl and You Raise Me Up really were great for their career, everything else was an overkill. Not many know it was Mariah Carey's wish to duet with the boys though, they just accepted and that was also a great career move as Mariah was still huge back then. As much as Simon helped them a lot, he also ruined their reputation when you think about it.

They are extremely low profile guys, never did or said something bad.... I love them like family even though I live thousands of miles away from them. The hate is because they once secured the top spot in the singles charts everytime they released something... Haven't they been so successful people wouldn't bother 'hating' them :)

PS: If they were luckier they would have 18 no.1's by now...

Where is Westlife today in the midweek chart? I don’t see them in Haven forum update.

Well it’s definitely happening, it’s here on Spotify. He’s a British producer and although not massively commercially successful, he is popular.
