I get that some of you all have some kind of irrational grudge against Little Mix which is fine I guess but there’s no way anyone truly believes the lead single off of their highly anticipated new album is going to debut outside the Top 40 with less than 10k sales.

#1 debut with 51-60k sales.

65k debut at number one.

 

 

I feel like there’s little awareness for this, that’s my main issue.

Hmm, I'd probably opt for a top 3/top 5 debut at this minute, simply because I don't think the song grabs you as instantly as SOTME did, and obviously the promo circuit isn't going to be as relentless this time around. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

It really doesn't sound like a #1 to me. With previous lead singles it was instant, not this time. But I still think it will have strong legs.

I really can't see it debuting outside the top 3 personally. It has a chance of #1 this week too I think hopefully.

Songs always stall in the evening/over the weekend after being released don't they? And then climb again on Mondays?

Looks like I was way off with my 70k+ prediction for this week. :(

 

Hopefully it'll climb to #1 eventually (X Factor performance and video should give it a massive boost). :D
