I thought the same! Don't scare me like that again x

Anyway, I missed this Sunday but have caught up - as wonderful as ever, amazing seeing how a society is formed in different groups of animals and paying special focus to them rather than the world around them makes it very fresh and I wasn't aware of a lot of the rituals that chimpanzees had and I'm interested to see the other animals. My Sundays have just got even better *.

Omg BBC you can't keep doing this to me, now I'm a wreck x

Those Penguin chicks    That was so difficult to watch, you never really know how much they have to suffer in just a year for their young, so glad the crew got involved to help them out.

Truly remarkable episode and heartbreaking at times to watch, and exceptional photography by the crew working in freezing and windy conditions, life without shows like these, and at the age of 92, David Attenborough is at his best as a naturalist.
I don't watch a lot of documentaries, but I did watch this with my family. It was interesting learning about the survival tactics of the penguin, but it was also sad to see what they've been through.

For me, this episode about the Lions is the best of the 3 so far, losing most of her pride, and ends up with a happy ending. It was heartbreaking at times to watch, a beautifully filmed piece of natural history documentary.
