X as it is far more inconsistent and the them is very mixed.

I love both. But I couldn't vote for 'X' because I revisit it all the time. I know that's more because of the leaked tracks. But it's just very dear to me.

 

It was an exciting time to be a Kylie fan because she was still so relevant. And I had a great time at the live show.

At the time of X, Kylie was still able to have big hits, there was also a focus on her as it was her return after her Cancer trauma.

That said, the album could have become so much bigger had they selected not just the right singles but also the album tracks.

Some of the songs left out in favour of some that made it were crazy decisions and as a result the album was so disjointed.

 

Impossible Princess was an exciting time to, for a Kylie fan, it was a whole new era, labelled as the album Kylie always wanted to make.

It was different, certainly not as instant as we were used of but an album that took a while to get used of, but when you did, it was great.

It was in large consistent, it had a dark sound and songs of meaning and probably the album Kylie needed to get of our her system before she returned to the world of pop, which most of her fans craved for.

 

Without Impossible Princess, i don't think we as fans would have had the pleasure of receiving the wonderful pop music that followed. It led to the incarnation of Kylie and no one including the fans ever predicted she could return and come back bigger than she ever was. Impossible Princess i would label as one of the most important albums in her career from her own perspective to work out the path she really needed to go on.

 

 

I don’t like X, so that was an easy decision. Impossible princess is an under rated gem!

This! Thought IP would be in the Top 3 rather than fighting for survival already - guess it shows how strong Kylie’s back catalogue is though.

There really is no bad album in this tie breaker or in the main eliminator from the albums left.

Impossible Princess has fought for survival in more than this round which i found surprising.

X for me.

Both are great albums but sticking with my original choice 'X', as while it does have some great moments ('Like A Drug', 'In My Arms', 'The One', 'Rippin' Up The Disco' & 'Wow'), there was just so much lost potential and some of the greatest tracks wasn't even included, 'Cherry Bomb', 'Magnetic Electric' & 'Ruffle My Feathers' weren't even included on the album, heck even the b-sides were better than half of this album.

Breathe is the standout on IP for me and overall it's a strong album.X has a few songs i Iove and love more than the songs on IP except breathe but my problem with x is there is alot of filler or forgettable songs where I don't find that with any of the songs on IP.

X for me, I rarely go back to it but I always listen to IP its a classic and an album initially I didn't think I would take to but one I always listen to

I am going to go head with the next round shortly for 2 reasons.
