Courtney Act hosted show 'The Bi Life' starts Thursday 25/10 at 9pm on E! channel!

There appears to be a lot on buzz online for this, so it'll be interesting to see how this does.

Really enjoyed the first episode! Courtney was a great host (far better than Caroline Flack could even dream of being) and the main cast are all very immediately likeable!

It did feel a bit Made in Chelsea by the time it got to the party at the end so hopefully there isn't one every episode but it was a good way to kick of the series!

It's available on YouTube in the UK and Ireland only:

I got that vibe too, hopefully it's a party every few days or so?

I really enjoyed that! The format seems well crafted and the cast are all really likeable. I liked that they all opened up about their experiences, who they are, etc in the VTs and that they were present throughout the episode so there's more depth as opposed to just seeing everything at face value in the villa/on dates. Courtney is a great host too, I'm liking how she's very much involved in the process.

Okay, I really enjoyed this! Shane/Courtney was really involved in the show which was so good like it came across like he actually wanted them to find love. Which is probably my main criticism of Caroline Flack in Love Island. Its just nice to have an LGBT dating show.

f***ing yes!!

Firstly, it's cheesy af but its a dating show so it's gonna be right? Secondly, I think I'm in love with Leonnie - I need more of her ASAP but most importantly, I'm so SO happy with how they're going about shedding light on some very common misconceptions surrounding bisexuality. I mean it's only episode one and they've already talked about being greedy, 3somes, never being able to commit to one person and the pressure of picking a side. This really highlights the importance of a good host as Shane/Courtney is probably the best person they could have got to do something like this and make it so casual. It's literally just opening up conversations which is all anyone has to do and it makes such a difference. Shane/Courtney just sets this really chill and relaxed tone and that's something I really admired about him in CBB so I had high hopes with this. Having them talk about how people have reacted to them saying they date both guys and girls or what their dating history has been like and making a point of asking how the person they're on a date with feels about their bisexuality is amazing because these are things so many people will be thinking whilst watching. I think if this gets enough exposure it's gonna be so good for the bi community in terms of opening up about their love life to others and feeling understood. Ik its just a reality show but I felt so damn happy watching it, it's been long overdue for something like this to hit TV. I also love how they all identify as something under the bi label but they're all really different in what that means to them, it's nice to have exploration more normalised (especially for the guys) and whatnot. Idk it was a really good start and I'm so excited to see how it progresses. I already feel like 2 of the girls will end up together at somepoint, my bets are on Daisie and Mariella tbh x

everything linds said

this is a smart look at sexuality~ It’s really opening up my perspective further=

Other than seeing Shane/Courtney Act on a few snippets from Big Brother and a few stand alone interviews coming across as extremely educated on topics such as drag or on transgender topics, I REALLY loved the presenting and the approach to the show! Really enjoyed the first episode!
Do you mean 95,000, can't be that low surely? I know E is only on Sky but still christ. Still need to watch this, don't have E so I'm glad it's on YT.
Really? :o what’s your source?

It was posted on DS. It's actually true :')

omg the amount of promotion it’s had as well!! eek

Still it’s probably 10x the amount of viewers the channel normally gets

Omg that's SO bad  Idk what's bad or good for random Sky channels but it was so promoted and it's not like Sky is THAT limited or it's a new thing not rolled out everywhere, a lot of people have it. It's got 90k on Youtube though and I think it's only available in the UK and Ireland, but still. I guess for that channel it might be way better than its usual output's rating (I swear the only notable thing they show is the Oscars coverage) but for it to be promoted so much...

I thought that as well but the most watched show last week, Kardashians got 195k and the top 20 on BARB were all over 20k, obvs they're officials but still I can't see it going anywhere near 100k oops

will catch up on this sometime if it's on youtube throughout, an LGBT+ dating show is well overdue!! <3

Oh I forgot they had the Kardashians :drama: If it's even getting half of random shows on E then it's not even good for that channel, oops.

It's available on Sky and Virgin Media but only to customers with an additional subscription. Even Courtney herself was unable to watch the show live. I literally know nobody who pays for additional channels on Sky or Virgin.

I'm sure the YouTube figures will be more than sufficient for this to be successful.

Finally watched this, it's so good! Normally not a huge fan of these dating shows like Celebs Go Dating and First Dates so was initially disappointed when I saw it wasn't going to be a drama filled Love Island type reality competition type show (although I'm sure the drama will come too *.*), but having seen it now I wouldn't have it any other way. The tone and execution of the show really fits the message and it educates without being preachy or pushy or awkward, it just covers what needs to be covered in such a natural and refreshing way that lays all its cards out on the table and is a totally honest look at what being bi is like for these people in all their varying ways.

Daisie is kinda unlikeable tho? I get she has trust issues but christ they'll be almost insurmountable if that's how she is after ONE date!!! She seems like she'll be a really interesting character to go on this journey though, and to see if she will work through her issues and find that person who makes her feel more secure.

Also Alex from the first C5 Big Brother series *.* And Sam from BB17 next week, nahhhh

Episode 2 was finally uploaded to YouTube yesterday. Episode 1 had over half a million views before it was taken down 🙁

I'm really growing to like Matt, he seems adorable. Leonnie is my favourite though, she needs more airtime!

Leonnie is such a queen
Irene seems nice seems like an interesting addition to the series. I'm interested to see how her dates go.
