Do you or did you use to post in gaming forums like Gamespot or IGN?

 

I used to visit Gamespot a lot but I never posted there. I used to post on IGN though, my username was OutstandingMike. :D

One of my first forum experiences was on Gamereplays, I posted a question about a game, and a moderator instantly closed it, with no attempt to answer my question because I'd asked about single player and it was a multiplayer focused forum. Made me never want to be that type of mod and knocked my confidence for starting topics loads.

 

I still posted there for a little while, there and some Runescape forums, and I'd always use to read GameFAQs, Gamespot and IGN too. Never anymore though, which is really weird to think about.

I used to use the official Playstation forums and the GameFAQs one but I don't go on there anymore. The only ones I use now are trophy related; PSNProfiles and PlaystationTrophies. ^_^

I've never joined a general gaming forum any ones I have joined are more for a particular game such as Minecraft forums etc. But I'd worry about joining general gaming forums because the gaming community can be quite trolly/toxic sometimes so I am not sure whether i'd want that vibe.
