For me this song is a Grower, I wasn't immediately sold on 'Ruin My Life' as I was slightly underwhelmed and to an extent I do feel a tad underwhelmed as I can see it being a song that I can quickly get bored off, I would have preferred an 'I Would Like' sort of comeback and I think that's more of what the public would want from her too. It's a strong song but again for a comeback and for a song that's meant to smash around Europe / world I just don't think it's strong enough and I would be shocked if it troubles the top 50 on the billboard.

It was such a grower for me on first impression.

For me, it's her 2nd best song behind 'Ain't My Fault' 😍

 

I love a good, mid-tempo pop ballad.
