Very enjoyable - I love "Your kisses". But yes, ultimately a flash in the pan.

dont know. st etienne have been around for ages and even though they are not totally the same they are slightly throwback to some kind of hip groovy era that your dad would probably know

Well, depends if the Pipettes can change their sound as often as St Etienne do.

I thought they were a pop band

Yea, what are they doing in the rock and indie section

You can tell, I've never heard them.

same as field music and go team, and even they are not typically 4 boys with guitars they are a bit left of centre and cultish

They're at #35 in the chart, I wasn't very impressed when they played the clip.

'Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me' is so quirky and catchy.

I also downloaded a song called 'I Like A Boy In Uniform (School Uniform)' and that was good too, I'll check them out more.

My boyfriend is obsessed with them! I thought he was gonna drag me to their London gig this week, but thank God he didn't! :D
I heard it just now, great song.
I liked their last single, 'Dirty Mind', so I bought the new one. Haven't got around to listening to it yet, so can't really say whether I like it or not. But it's probably OK.

First time I heard their song was on the chart on Sunday.

It's really catchy - is there an album?

No album as yet, but they'll no doubt be working on one now that they've had four singles out.
