5,5,5 I suppose.

Their older stuff is way better though imo. When they had Twiggy in the band. I still like Tim though.

Yeah, it's from Smells Like Children which wasn't a proper album, just remix's/covers etc.

I like Marilyn Manson's covers.

I meant Portrait Of An American Family and Antichrist Superstar really. they're the best albums.

Good vid, okay-ish track, pretty lame in comparison to stuff like "Tourniquet", "Beautiful People" or "Get Your Gunn" though, and the chorus is somewhat of a rip-off of Faith No More's "Be Aggressive"; Manson is an important 90s Rock Icon, along with Trent Reznor and Mike Patton (but not as important as either IMO) but he's dreadfully passe these days and has certainly not endured to anything like the degree of Kurt Cobain or Thom Yorke, both of whom would get 5 stars without question...

So, 3-2-3 from me....

Anyone heard his version of This Is Halloween? (Nightmare Before Christmas) It's not bad, I read Panic! At The Disco did one too, haven't heard it though.
I went for a 2-2-3, but not necessarily considering mOBSCENE  Let's not forget "The Beautiful People" and "Tainted Love" B) xox.

one of the most important artistys ever? Err... PLEASE!

Only if you're 15 and live in middle America and never heard of David Bowie, Sisters of Mercy, Alice Cooper or Siouxsie and the Banshees.

I think he's important in the mid/late 90s context... And we shouldn't really underestimate the impact that he DID have in the American heartlands... He really did scare the sh!t out of K-Mart/Wal-Mart crowd....

but Scott, even Kenny Rogers would scare that crowd!

I thought Kenny Rogers was the icon of the K-Mart/Wal-Mart folk....

Seriously though, I kinda think you underestimate MM a bit, sure he's not really anything to shout about now, but a decade back, and particularly through the whole 'Columbine' thing, you better believe that he was America's public enemy No 1.... Even Bin Laden would've envied Manson's notoriety....

He's **** as a live act.

Sorry mate, you're totally wrong there.. I've seen him live three times, and have always been impressed by his remarkable stage presence and ability to put on a very entertaining live show.

But I suppose it depends on when you saw him, I saw him at his absolute peak in the mid-late 90s, so maybe you just got him on a bad night....
