Just had a lovely text from Rose which says :-

 

Will v v smart, black v pointy shoes, smart black tight trousers, white pilot shirt, blacktie. He sang LRN, said had very lovely boyfriend for 10 months, :wub: lots of complimentary calls to tv studio. Carol had text shown on screen

 

Just got this from Janet.-

Audience loved him and so did Noeleen. He got calls and messages from fans

and another from Rose:-

 

Said tired, looking forward to Vortex, had spag bol for lunch, questions about PI said wants to to duet with Bjorg. (think this may be Bjork??

Will looked lush, said he was tired, he said the camera lies, he's only got a small part

Callers phoned in saying what a big impact he was in South Africa

Said his intro on prog sounded like epitaph, wanted to play hide & seek with host. Took over show for short while and host said he should have own show, looked f***ing gorgeous

Hi I'm back

 

What a great experience. Will was wearing black trousers, white short-sleeved shirt, a black tie and black shoes with no socks.

 

He was extremely funny and had the audience in fits. I'm sure the girls who were watching can give you the details of the show.

 

I met Nalisha and her freind there and we got the best seats. He sat down and I held up my banner and he really tried to read it, but said that he couldn't see because he didn't have his glasses with him. But that was fine.

 

At the end, he was walking out and I thought I would try and catch him before he went out of the studio door, but a great pair of burly arms caught hold of me and said, sorry, can't let you go through. I am not disappointed. I got loads of piccies but will only be able to upload them when I get home after my AGM

 

He had his whole band with him and sang LRN, but we could hardly hear the vocals as it wasn't aimed at the studio audience but the TV audience.

 

The banana girls' sms came up on screen which was a hoot. All in all, I enjoyed every minute of it and couldn't believe that I was about 10 metres from him..

 

He didn't connect with the audience at all except for when I put up my banner. He just seemed to want to get in and out of the studio.

 

A very funny incident. The compere started talking about Ronan during the break, and Will made it abundantly clear that he really thought Ronan was a tosser and that he didn't like him at all. He was making all sorts of rude gestures with his arms and face. It was hilarious, but I suppose not when you're a Ronan fan. Sorry, Pumkin.

 

Anyway, Nalisha has just texted me to say that she won't be able to get on until tomorrow, so you are only going to hear from me tonight.

 

There was another South African girl there who went to the Wembley concert when they taped the DVD. She and her mom and dad were there and they have been long time fans.

 

Anyway, don't be sad for me that I still didn't get to meet Will. It doesn't matter. I just know that now why we all love him so much. He is the best. Gotta go now. Will check back later.

It's great that we're getting all these reports and pics from the fans in South Africa, I love the pic of Will with the big jug of beer. :lol: I've just been reading another report on the official site and she posted this,

He interacted very well with the fans who called in- like a girl named Shakira called in and he's like, "Hello Shakira. Do your hips lie?"
