A fantastic performance, and I prefer it over Rak-Su's last year, but how will it chart?

It's a fully produced studio version thankfully!!

 

I think this is a nice version of the song actually. Dalton's got a great voice (even if I find him quite uninteresting as an artist) and James Arthur doesn't sound as bad as he sometimes does either. That said, Gabrielle Aplin's cover will always be my favourite :heart:

I hope this does well for Dalton. I don't know if I'll listen to it a lot but if treated well by Syco (too much to ask) he should have great material to come. Ideally this will be the biggest winning single since Something I Need.

I'm sure Syco will find a way to screw up his career, but I can see this doing quite well tbh, Dalton appears to be one of the most popular X Factor winners in years and 'The Power Of Love' as a song choice is smart for this time of year. I'm going to say top 3 minimum.

Because he's the only remotely successful act left on Syco now that Little Mix have left. Hopefully the record label's sad state of affairs will force them to focus on making Dalton big rather than doing a half-arsed job.

 

I wonder if Little Mix were still with Syco they would've been releasing a duet with Dalton. We could've had Secret Love Song Part III!

The original is by far the best version. Just another cheap attempt by X factor at covering a well known song in desperation for a hit - it would be way too much effort for Cowell & Co to actually release an original song! This version is lifeless and dreadful!
