Up and coming groove rock band Turning Green have been given an unexpected "pop" seal of approval - from Will Young.

 

Will who is currently staring in The Vortex at the RE turned up at Chorlton's Iguana Bar this week to check out the band with his co-stars, Geoge Costigan and David Fielder. He was so impressed with the rockers he couldn't stop chattering about the gig afterwards.

 

My theatre mole tells me although few people have ever heard of Turning Green Will couldn't stop talking about them. Their performance really made an impression.

 

This was in Thursdays MEN. Not sure who George Costigan is though who is supposed to be a co-star

 

He said he hadn't lived like he is in Manc since he was at uni - he seems to have stepped back in time - he's even taken to mooning :lol:
