Whereabouts are you going chrysalis? my son is in Perth.

I'm going to Sydney, then flying from there to Alice Springs and to Ayers Rock, then back to a place called Merimbula (on the coast) where my cousin is, then hiring a car to go down to Melbourne and Adelaide and back up to Sydney. Had hoped to go up to the Great Barrier Reef, but I don't think there'll be time. I've done a lot of travelling in my time, and this will be one of my bigger trips mileswise. Just hope the old foot doesn't play up - at least most hire cars out there are automatic so that will help. :D

No I didn't chrysalis, :( my son went to Adelaide to work on the harvest and then he spent xmas and new year in Pattaya in Thailand. He's now back in Perth and coming back for a holiday in July, hopefully I'll get out there eventually.

Thanks for posting Suggy - I've never seen it before :( so it was a nice surprise. Only thing is what little snow we had has thawed fast, and we've been having sun again here, with not a hint of snow. There you are Suggy - told you the weather up here was better than anywhere else in the UK!! :P
