I'd forgotten that picture. I wonder whether the jeans finally gave up the ghost and that they are now shorts!

One thing about Will is that you cannot say he is extravagent.

Thanks for posting.

Morning everyone :yahoo: How about this smile to brighten up our morning

My loveable tramp. This could only be Will.

I love this picture - and the brown suit!

One of my favs too Dot. He looked so in control & yet so delicate that day. How he managed to really live those songs with all the screams & whistles I will never know. He showed that day what a truly professional talented vocalist he is.

You know, that day and those performances were the defining moment for me. The moment I knew that he was going to be a star.

It was just 7 months after the PI final, he'd already lasted a month longer than a lot of the media had predicted ;) but there was still the worry that maybe he'd be the solo equivalent of Hear'Say. When he performed Summertime and then BOTROAD, you just knew that Will was going to come through and have many years in the music business, he was just too talented not to.

What an abundance of wonderful pics. Thanks everyone. :cheer: Where was the evening suit one taken? Never seen it before.

I watched some of the vids on this forum earlier in the week and one of them was BOTROTD. As you say Marguerite, he'd only been in the business 7 months, but you just knew that after those cracking performances he was no 15 minute wonder and was going to make the "longhaul". :cheer:

It's a screenie from MHP - from the extras I think.

I wish he could have sung Summertime and BOTROAD without the stupid screaming. A concert of superb classics like those would be great.

I always makes me smile to think that Gareth was originally going to sing BOTROAD! I read it in the Mirror a while before the Proms in the Park and thought it was rather ambitious.

Thanks Munchkin. Thought it may have been, but then again thought it may have been the last night at The Vortex! Whatever - it's a lovely pic.

Just looking at the lovely pics posted today and reminiscing, I loved that brown suit as well and BOTROAD was spoilt because of all the damn screaming. :(

Another concert i knew nothing about ^_^ for the first 3 years of his career I only ever saw Will when he was on totps and cduk...so mentions of him where very rare for me and yet I still loved him...infact even with the internet and all the pics and news at my figure tips and all the extra concerts I have been able to attend because of the net, I dont love him anymore now then I did back then  I met quite a few fans at the vortex who had never been on the internet and they were absolutely crazy about him.

When you look at his sales, both for c.ds and concerts, then you realise that the few of us on his sites are a very small drop in the ocean compared to the amount of fans he has. :D

I don't seem to like what I call 'old songs' :( I don't like BOTROTD or 'A nightingale sang in Barkley Square' and quite a few others ;) I'm not fussed on the songs from MHP either

He looked beautiful though

Marguerite, that was one of the things I noticed when I went to the VE Day concert - the cheer that went up for him was amazing - we were just a tiny part of that crowd day :) I think it was the first time it really hit home to me how popular he actually is across such a broad range of people

By the way, loving the MHP pic "sigh"

Love this one

I'm glad someone else feels the same as I do, its been mentioned a few times that a swing album would be appreciated. Not for me <_< ...really not keen on that sort of thing......but, as this IS a picture thread....

Thought I would post up this little gem......a nice sight if you were out shopping :D

I love that pic Tillywhim, I think it's his bare tootsies that does it, god knows how mucky his feet get tramping the streets of London in flip flops or bare feet.

And imagine all the fumbling you could get in as you offered to help carry his bags :whip:
