We never did get to see a proper sunset over Uluru - that was the best the weather could come up with whilst we were actually at Ayres Rock.

Thanks for the pics chrysalis and munchkin, I've always wanted to go visit Ayers Rock and i hope to get there in the next few years, it's looking more likely that my son will be staying in OZ. :( another one of my favourites of Will there. :wub:

If you get the chance it's well worth a visit Suggy. I'll lend you my fly net. There are millions of flies - they get everywhere so a lot of people were wearing loose nets over their heads - they were selling them in the hotels for A$7. I think I've got a pic of myself in one somewhere.
