54. Spice Girls - Goodbye (1998)

55. Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall (1979)

56. Danny Williams - Moon River (1961)

57. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (1975)

Hilarious Alex  I feel that way sometimes about Bo Rap I'm so sick of hearing it, having once worshipped it. Spice Girls that low is a huge surprise, thought you'd like it (I wasn't much of a huge fan of it myself), oops! There are better versions of Moon River of course - most of 'em actually  I go for Greyhound or Audrey hepburn or Andy williams, though Danny's is OK. Floyd is a masterpiece but progrock not your thing, I know :)

# 6 - # 10 :

6. Military Wives - Wherever You Are (2011) - 7/10

7. Wings - Mull Of Kintyre / Girls' School (1977) - 7/10

8. Cliff Richard - Mistletoe And Wine (1988) - 6/10

9. Elvis Presley - Return To Sender (1962) - 6/10

10. Flying Pickets - Only You (1983) - 6/10

Wherever You Are is definitely the best of the modern era's charity singles - for the most part because it's actually listenable to unlike the rest!

I prefer the Yazoo version of 'Only You' but the Flying Pickets' is really great too - one of the only a cappella UK #1s.

Absolutely love the Flying Pickets version of Only You and Yazoos as well. Xmas no1 on the year I was born :)!

Great Xmas no1 in 1995 GODs!

Quite shocked at the no1 there, probably my least fav Xmas no1 of the 80s behind Jackie Wilson in 1986!!

Ah I love Mud, like Shaky, Girls Aloud (a lot), and Robbie & Nicole is a decent version of a classic. Rene & Renata is one my grandma loved and I bought it for her a few years before she died in 2010 aged 93, so I'm fond it for that reason. She also adored Abba Gold.

Bottom of my list? Mr Blobby. It's just so wrong!
