Whom would you say been the biggest sporting flop of the year and why?

 

For me it would be Germany at the FIFA World Cup and their performance in the Nations League.

 

I will nominate the speed skater Elise Christie for all her mishaps at the Winter Olympics. As in 2014,after being tipped to win medals in three different events,she came away with nothing.

She is probably the most unluckiest British Olympian of all time. No need though when that happened was the online abuse she received.
