How would you rank the UK Albums Chart number ones of 2018?

My ranking (from least favourite to most favourite):

xx. Take That - Odyssey (IGNORING. It's a greatest hits/best of compilation so it doesn't count towards my ranking.)

SOLID TIER

17. Post Malone - Beerbongs & Bentleys

16. Drake - Scorpion

15. Rod Stewart - Blood Red Roses

SWELL TIER

14. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again OST

13. The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

12. Eminem - Kamikaze

11. The Greatest Showman OST

10. Ariana Grande - Sweetener

9. Kylie Minogue - Golden

8. Jess Glynne - Always In Between

7. Andrea Bocelli - Si

EXCELLENT TIER

6. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born OST

5. Michael Buble - Love

4. Muse - Simulation Theory

Of those I only bought George Ezra, Drake, Ariana, Gaga and Bradley Cooper and Jess Glynne.

I also enjoyed the majority of Post Malones album and I listen to around half of the greatest showman album regularly but skip the other half so didn’t bother buying it.

I only bought Muse, The 1975 and Rod Stewart and would rate them:

3. The 1975

2. Muse

1. Rod Stewart

3. Lady Gaga - A star is born

2. The Grestest Showman OST

1. Kylie Minogue - Golden

I would probably put Jess Glynne at 4th but haven’t heard any of the other albums as they don’t interest me so can’t rate them!

5. Take That 5/10

4. Greatest Showman 6/10

3. Muse 8/10

2. The 1975 8/10

1. Kylie 9/10

Those are the only 5 on the list that I've brougnt.

hmm, I've heard 12 of them (though most only once). I'd go:

1. Ariana Grande - sweetener

2. Drake - Scorpion

3. Kylie Minogue - Golden

(all have many songs I enjoy... even if possibly just by brute force of throwing so many tracks at the wall in Drake's case)

=4. Jess Glynne - Always In Between

=4. Post Malone - beerbongs & bentleys

=4. The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

(all have some strong singles/highlights - I particularly love 'Give Yourself A Try' and 'rockstar' - but I wasn't really convinced by them as a whole)

=7. Eminem - Kamikaze

=7. George Ezra - Staying At Tamara's

=7. The Prodigy - No Tourists

(decent)

=10. Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino

=10. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born

=10. Various Artists - The Greatest Showman (actually haven't listened to it start-to-front, but I've heard almost everything at some point)

(not interested, though I do at least like 2 ASIB songs ['Diggin' My Grave' and 'Heal Me'] and 'This Is Me' grew on me)

01. Drake - Scorpion

02. Muse - Simulation Theory

03. Post Malone - Beerbongs & Bentleys

04. Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino

05. George Ezra - Staying At Tamara's

06. Jess Glynne - Always In Between

07. Ariana Grande - Sweetener

08. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born OST

09. The Prodigy - No Tourists

10. The Greatest Showman OST

11. Eminem - Kamikaze

12. The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

13. Take That - Odyssey

14. Andrea Bocelli - Si

15. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again OST

16. Kylie Minogue - Golden

17. Michael Buble - Love

18. Rod Stewart - Blood Red Roses
