Posted December 30, 20186 yr Better late than never. It wasn't mentioned in R.I.P thread in Lounge and in Retro forum too. The writer and producer of almost all Brotherhood of Man hits and many other popular retro songs Tony Hiller died in August aged 91. I'm a big fan or group, so must to do a tribute thread. Over 500 other artists have recorded Hiller's songs including Elton John, Olivia Newton-John, Andy Williams, Ray Stevens, The Miracles, The Hollies, Sonny and Cher, The Osmonds, Glen Campbell, Crystal Gayle, Anne Murray, Ed Bruce, The Fortunes e.t.c. He won three Ivor Novello Awards and a Gold Badge Award for his services to the British music industry Edited December 30, 20186 yr by Good Old Days
December 30, 20186 yr Author It's very hard to select something from Brotherhood of Man for fan of group, but retro fans obviously heard their 3 number ones, so prefer to introduce less-known / forgotten songs. Very cute "My Sweet Rosalie", it's my favourite BoM song. ixHOOkAMvPw "Lightning Flash", their very underrated last song in UK chart, peaked only at # 67 in 1982. 0am1hvpFncA Their small European hit "Kiss Me Kiss Your Baby" (# 1 in Belgium, # 2 in Netherlands). pxD3Mbp50YY
