All British horse racing meetings on Thursday have been cancelled because of an outbreak of equine flu.

Wolverhampton Racecourse has said its meeting on Saturday will not take place as a horse from the infected yard ran there this week and a deep clean has been ordered. Racing is not permitted for four days afterwards.

 

Understood to be from Donald McCain's yard where the three infected horses raced at Ayr and Ludlow.

Jockey Dylan Robinson has been banned for three years after testing positive for cocaine.

 

The drug, banned under the rules of racing, was found in a sample of Robinson's urine taken at Galway on 9 October.
