Verstappen is getting a lot of stick but I thought he was unlucky this time! Not his fault at the start with Lewis, in fact it Lewis oversteering that caused Max to take too the grass so no one at fault there then his tangle with Bottas was super unlucky, there was like minimal contact and it was hardly a Kyvat-esque divebomb.

 

It is interesting to note however that since Albon became his teammates he has outscored Max!

but with Bottas it was Verstappen's fault, showing a total lack of maturity

he did an exaggerated overtake that he didn't have to and that costed him the puncture, his fault 1000%

same with the qualifying

It was nothing like the Torpedo style move from Kvyat on Hulkenberg on the last lap.

Can’t at Kvyat complaining about his penalty. He clear as day punted him into the wall at the final corner and kicked us out of contention of points. So lucky Hulk was able to salvage it over the line so we could get something.

You gotta hand it to Mercedes. They have no equal in car design, reliability or tactics and Hamilton remains the most consistent of the top six drivers, and so deserves to win this year by default. Sadly with Bottas in the 2nd car next year is likely a foregone conclusion already. Roll on 2021

Alfa Romeo will retain Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi for a second season with the team in 2020.

crazy how there are all these drivers that are driving like shit, and still they got rewarded

by keeping their seat next season, Giovinazzi is one of them imho same with Magnussen, Grosjean etc

Giovinazzi has done better than I expected actually, outqualifying Kimi quite regularly recently. Few mistakes in races etc. but he is still effectively a rookie in his first full season so I can understand that one. How grosjean still has a seat is rather more mystifying, are there really no better options in junior formula?

I agree Giovinnazi deserves his seat. As has been mentioned, he's still learning his craft and has out qualified and sometimes out raced Raikkonen. A man who is no slouch (even if he is passed his best). And frankly there's no better option out there right now, and I include Hulkenberg in that equation.

 

I also agree about Magnussen and Grosjean, and I throw Kvyat in as well
